Same-Day Spine Care Clinic

Patients can call (256) 533-1600 weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to request a same-day appointment with a Spine & Neuro advanced practice provider (a Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner) for spine-related symptoms and conditions.

Symptoms treated at the same-day clinic:

  • Back pain (mid and lower)

  • Neck pain

  • Radiating pain into the arm or leg

  • Pinched nerve

  • Hand numbness/weakness

Conditions treated at the same-day clinic:

  • Radiculopathy

  • Carpal Tunnel

  • Herniated Disc

  • Spinal Stenosis

  • Degenerative disc disease

  • Spondylosis

  • Spondylolisthesis

Physician referrals are welcome but not required for same-day appointments with an advanced practice provider.

Symptoms & conditions not treated at the same-day clinic:

  • Headaches

  • Isolated gait dysfunction

  • Stroke-like symptoms

  • Spinal tumor or masses

  • Unspecified weakness

  • Any brain diagnosis (Hydrocephalus, Tumors, Aneurysms, Chiari Malformations, Scoliosis, Subdural Hematoma, etc.)
