Bralts

Physiatrist Duncan Bralts, DO, joined Huntsville Hospital’s Spine & Neuro Center in July 2025.

As an interventional physiatrist, Dr. Bralts uses a multitude of conservative and interventional treatments to treat chronic back pain and radiculopathies. He performs epidurals for cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine and radiofrequency ablations for cervical and lumbar spine. He performs electrodiagnostic testing including nerve conduction (NCS) and electromyography (EMG) to diagnose peripheral nerve injuries, neuropathies, radiculopathies, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. He also performs diagnostic and interventional ultrasound guided procedures to peripheral nerves, tendons, and joints throughout the entire body.

Dr. Bralts is originally from Sebring, Florida. He attended Florida State University for his undergraduate degree, studying athletic sports medicine. Dr. Bralts received his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, AL.

He then completed an internship in internal medicine at Medical Center of Trinity in Florida. Dr. Bralts completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri, followed by a year-long fellowship focusing on interventional spine and sports medicine at OSS Health in York, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Bralts is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the North American Spine Society.

In his spare time, Dr. Bralts enjoys getting out on the golf course and spending time with his wife Taylor, their daughter Laney, and their pup Sammy. Taylor is from Madison and attended Bob Jones High School (class of 2012). Dr. Bralts said he’s excited to give back and provide care in a place that is so important to his family.
